The Last of the Droids is a conflict between the New Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Empire fighting over control of the galaxy. The New Confederacy's leader, TF-1726 wants to have everything under Droid control and have peace across the galaxy. Emperor Palpatine wants the rule the galaxy by fear and destroy anyone who tries to take his power.
