The TIE/IN Interceptor or commonly known as the TIE Interceptor, is one of the main TIE fighters used by the Galactic Empire during The Last of the Droids era. TIE Interceptors are about the same as the Vulture Droids which made them engage each other in battle.

History

Invading Equestria

A squad of TIE Interceptors attack the ponies.

Several TIE Interceptors participated in the Imperial Invasion of Equestria. TIE Interceptors launched from the Imperial-class Star Destroyers along with TIE Bombers and TIE Fighters. The TIE Interceptors focused on killing the Peguas ponies while the TIE Bombers focused on the homes. After the Mane 6 were forces to surrender, the TIE Interceptors went back inside the Star Destroyers.
