The Sheathipede-class transport shuttle or commonly known as the CIS Shuttle is a shuttle used for many biological people such as Count Dooku or Nute Gunray during the Clone Wars era. They later on made a comeback for the New Confederacy of Independent Systems for the Mane 6 and TF-1726's getaways from his girlfriend.
Characteristics[]
Sheathipedes are shaped like soldier beetles, and their clawfooted landing legs can only settle down on hard surfaces. This is due to the businessmen's distaste for dealing with poor, underdeveloped worlds. These shuttles can have their cockpits removed and replaced by automated pilots, so that cabin space could be increased but not often. The Sheathipede-class shuttle was a short-range ship, used only for planetary travel or to ferry passengers to and from an orbital space station or starship such as the Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ship and the Providence-class carrier/destroyer.

The main variant of the Sheathipede-class has several laser cannons and a seat for a gunner next to the OOM Pilot Droid, thus widening the cockpit. Due to the additional armament on the dorsal fin, the communications antenna is shortened. The Sheathipede bears a resemblance to the larger Neimoidian trader, the Maxillipede Shuttle and the Sheathipede Class Type B Escort Shuttle.
