The Mane 6 is the collective name used to refer to the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic characters that appear in the stories. Allying themselves with the Confederacy of Independent Systems and later the New Confederacy of Independent Systems, they fought in many battles during the beginnings of the Clone Wars and the The Last of the Droids. Some of them even found droid boyfriends.

Mane 6[]

History[]

The Clone Wars Era[]

The Mane 6 were normal ponies living peaceful lives on their homeworld of Equestria, but that all changed when General Grievous came there to protect the planet. After hearing of the Clone Wars that were ravaging across the galaxy, the Mane 6 took Grievous' offers. After allying with Grievous and allowing the droids to build their forces there, the Mane 6 and their rulers, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, were involved in more battles that would ravage their planet. Despite the evil Republic's best efforts, the ponies fought back and defended Equestria. They later took several positions in the Separatist Army.

During the Clone Wars, the Mane 6 were involved in the following battles:

After the Republic forces left the planet, Equestria officially allied with the Confederacy of Independent Systems and allowed them to protect. It seemed as if peace had returned...

...but in the world of Star Wars, peace is always temporary.

The Imperial Era[]

The Mane 6 remained completely unaware of the galaxy's oppression by the Galactic Empire, or that Emperor Palpatine had ordered the newly knighted Vader to kill all of the Separatist Leaders on Mustafar as he had no need for them any more, and later ordered all Battle Droids to be shut down immediately after the formation of the Empire. Grievous and Yoda, who had assisted the ponies during the Clone Wars, had already left Equestria by this time; Yoda was in hiding onboard the Invisible Hand and Grievous was killed by commander Cody during the Battle of Utapau.

When the droid army was shut down, it left Equestria defenseless, but the ponies were not terribly concerned about it, having not really trusted the droids since Grievous' first invasion. However, that all changed when Palpatine gave orders to invade Equestria, and Imperial forces came storming in. The Mane 6 and the rest of the Canterlot Royal Guard fought back, but they were once again outnumbered and poorly armed. With no choice, they surrendered. Now Equestria was under Imperial control, the princesses lost their power, and the Mane 6 were captured and awaiting execution when a strange incident occurred.

Battles the Mane 6 were involved in during this invasion:

The Last of the Droids era[]

Early Battles[]

The Mane 6 saw a lot of action during this era. When the droids were accidentally awakened on Equestria, they drove off the Empire. The Empire declared war on them, planning on destroying the droids and the ponies. TF declared war on the Empire, saying that they would pay for lying to the galaxy and killing their leaders. The Mane 6 agreed with the droids, and with TF-1726's permission, they joined the New Confederacy of Independent Systems. During this time, they didn't get along with the droids very well, mainly due to the fact that they didn't care much about ruling the galaxy, were only using the droids as their muscle and weren't very concerned about the costs of the war. This, combined with TF's questionable treatment of them, resulted in civil wars that nearly ended in disaster for them. Despite their constant bickering, the ponies and droids always made up, however short a time.

Three members of the Mane 6, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle entered into relationships with the droid leaders: Pinkie and TF, Rarity and her Commando Droid Captain, and Twilight with the Security Battle Droid Commander. These relationships helped boost better relations between the ponies and the droids, and the Mane 6 came to realize that they couldn't possibly use the droids for their muscle all the time and would have to get serious about the war themselves. Later, when Pinkie told a story about what would happen should they continue to fight each other, the ponies and the Princesses of Equestria reconciled with TF and agreed to be fully loyal to him from then on.

The Mane 6 later assisted TF in various battles, some of them gaining titles such as General (for Twilight), Special Operations Officer (Rarity), Commander (for Pinkie) and Air Commander (for Rainbow Dash). Fluttershy and Applejack did not get any titles until later in the war, and were viewed as common soldiers.

These were the battles the Mane 6 fought in during the first half, or "Early Era", of The Last of the Droids:

After the 2nd Battle of Coruscant, the Mane 6 thought that the war would be over. But with their leader, TF-1726 destroyed, they have been left depressed and upset at what happened, as well as some feeling that the conflict with the Empire isn't as final as Palpatine made it out to be.

Rise of the FCIS and Return of the Empire[]

Not long after securing Coruscant after the 2nd Battle of Coruscant, the Mane 6 had to recover from the loss of TF-1726, who'd been destroyed by the Imperials during the battle. They laid the leader inside the Senate building, and ultimately his Commander Battle Droid (TF-1726's) became the leader of the droid army. However, when a group of strange colored battle droids stole TF's body, the ponies and the droids were left in complete and utter confusion. It wasn't until later that they learned of a new opponent: the Fake Confederacy of Independent Systems, otherwise known as the FCIS.

Headed by Pinkamena, a clone made from Pinkie's own DNA, the FCIS stole TF's body to gain intel on the NCIS and to turn TF to their side. They succeed in doing this, and Pinkamena, having warped the droid leader's mind, takes her army to Coruscant to destroy the droid army and the ponies with it, using TF as their ultimate weapon. The T-series tactical droid was destroying the droids and beating up the ponies, including his own girlfriend, who constantly tried to reach out to him. She later kissed him, which awoke him and got him back to normal. When told of what had happened to him, TF became enraged and led the battle from there, and the ponies brutally beat Pinkamena for her deed. After sending the FCIS and the pony clone away, TF-1726 became the leader of the New Confederacy of Independent Systems again.

Even after this, the infighting between the ponies and the droids did not stop. When TF's 1st Attack on the Death Star and the second attack failed, he made the ponies scapegoats so he could escape the public's wrath, leading the Mane 6 to get beat up by the angry citizens of Coruscant. Angry at this, the Mane 6 left Equestria in a huff, an action that drew the T-series tactical droid's fury and caused him to send his personal Super Tactical Droid to wipe out everyone and everything on Equestria in order to force them to stay. The Super Tactical Droid did, and the depressed Mane 6, as well as the Princesses of Equestria, came back to Equestria and apologized to TF on the hologram for their behavior. When even the New Confederate Droid Army got angry at their leader for his behavior, the T-series tactical droid left the army in shame, and the ponies quickly traveled the galaxy to get him back, convincing the droids to forgive him and not hate him. They also forgave TF-1726 for his actions. After this incident, the reconciled groups led a 3rd Attack on the Death Star which proved to be successful.
